Prof. Dr. Çetin Işık

Orthopedics and traumatology specialist Prof. Dr. Çetin Işık was born in Mardin in 1981. He graduated from primary, secondary and high school with first place. He got the highest score in the university placement exam in Mardin and settled in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.

• In 2005, after graduating from Ankara Faculty of Medicine, he completed his specialization in Ankara Dışkapı SSK Hospital Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic.
• In 2010, he submitted his specialty thesis and became a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He won the chief assistant exam and received the title of chief assistant in 2012.
• In 2012, he received the title of Chief Assistant at Bilkent Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.
• In 2014, he received the title of Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Joint Surgery at Yıldırım Beyazıt University (Faculty of Medicine). He received the title of Associate Professor by winning the exams held in 2016 and writing many studies in the scientific community.
• He then continued his studies simultaneously at Bilkent Atatürk and Yıldırım Beyazıt Medical Faculty.
• He trained many physicians and specialists in his academic career.
• He has performed more than 20000 operations so far in his working life.
• He has written more than 100 articles and book chapters. He also took part in more than 200 congresses and courses in Turkey and abroad.
• He is an expert in all surgical and non-surgical treatments of the musculoskeletal system and joints.
